Hi, I’m B.L. Cagle

B.L. is a small-town girl from Lewisburg, Tennessee. She currently lives in South Carolina with her husband, daughter (Radio Personality) and their rescued fur baby. She is also a proud Mom of an Army MP.

She is a daytime VAMPIRE and works alongside some very wonderful Doctors and Residents.

She is a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan, loves animals, and both dirt track and drag racing. When she's not writing or reading, you can find her on the trails riding her RZR with her family, or at muscle car shows.

She is a lover of hard rock and metal music, but also some of the in-between. She loves the 80's cheesy movies along with the 80's HairBands. She loves concerts and traveling (whenever possible)

She loves connecting with other authors and voice narrators, but most importantly, she loves getting to know the readers on a personal level. (SHE LOVES THE READERS)

The love of writing began in the 4th grade after winning a short story contest, and has continued writing short stories and poems for her family, and friends.

After having recurring dreams (and still does) she began writing them down, turning them into a chilling tale leading into the paranormal world, and how dreams can overtake the mind.

BUT DREAMS AREN'T REAL. ARE THEY?

“Hello! I’m S.J. or Sammie as most know me. I’m originally from a small town just outside Nashville, TN and though I’ll forever consider Los Angeles, CA home sweet home, I currently reside in Raleigh, NC with my schmexy husband, Matt, my two awesome sauce daughters, Madeleine & Margot and two naughty golden retrievers—Flynn Ryder & Sadie.

I studied Psychology and Education at Belmont University and was preparing to begin a masters program at UCLA when I discovered photography. Changing gears, I dived head first into building my business as a destination wedding photographer . . . Fast forward ten years later, my successful business came to a halt with the onset of the global pandemic. So, after many years of considering it, I finally took the plunge and attempted to write a book. And as luck would have it, my big sis was in the same boat, so naturally, we decided to do it together. When I’m not writing, you can find me chauffeuring my daughters back and forth from cheer and tumble practices, lounging on my front porch swing reading while trying to make friends with squirrels, drying off my naughty dogs after they’ve jumped in the pool for the tenth time in a single day, or teaching myself to draw. I’m a proud Alpha Gamma Delta. A die hard Swiftie. I love to travel. Anthropologie. Hats & Maxie Dresses. Listening to the rain. Playing Wordle with my hubby and listening to my music way too loud.”
